Andrew: A couple of weeks ago, two weeks in advance of my show at the St. Petersburg International Film Festival, I recorded a video for a song on my new release – I'm an extremely big fan of you. It's called "The Devil's New Groove." I didn't want to do it like you did, but the guitar part wasn't even really me, it was the drums. I wrote the lyrics about how I don't like to get to know my guitar players too well in order for that song to sound awesome. So in all seriousness, if I wasn't at the festival, it would have been like if I had done this while I was on tour. As far as writing and recording, I was pretty confident at that point in my history that it would all be worth it…that I'd been on the right track.
